| Having been a resident of Bonita springs since New Years Day
1980 I've seen some major changes in our little town. Gone is the
quiet little cracker town of the past. Good ole' Chucks
Poorhouse (probably the best place to see a SW Florida sunset) has
been replaced by Docs Beach House along Bonita Beach.
That's progress for ya! I still get used to Docs,
but I always enjoyed the sunset on the beach when there weren't
restrictions on what you could do, provided activities were kept low key.
RV revelers would park for the day at the beach providing plenty of
interesting conversation.
